HomeCare Europe is a new not for profit organisation.
It promotes and develops home help and home care services, offering support to people in their own homes and communities.
Membership is drawn from across the member countries of the EU.
The organisation aims to:
- influence contacts between relief organisations
- support scientific research in the field of home help and home care
- defend the interests of home help and home care with the authorities of the European Commission
- improve and develop the quality of services
- share best practice across member states
- support and promote the rights of individuals to live and die at home: disregarding illness, age, disability or social environment
- support and promote the aims in countries that are not EU members as well as those that are
- organise activities to achieve the aims, by launching projects, establishing working groups and workshops, developing training and retraining programmes and issuing publications

HomeCare Europe is open to organisations based in European countries, active in the field of health and social care and providing home help or home care to people at home.
